Banana Bass

Banana (2009) is another fretless 4-string. This bass acquired some small notoriety when it was put up for sale on eBay. According to some forum discussions, its unusual features seemed to have a polarizing affect on those who saw it- they either hated it or they loved it. From certain web forums, it is now known that this bass met its demise while being played on stage- exactly the way it would have wanted to go out!

(Note: For those wondering about the banana-shaped inlays on the body- It was discovered during building this bass that the mahogany had some small cracks/checks running through it. The flaws were cut out to prevent further cracking, and the remaining voids were filled with themed inlay plugs.)
