Built in 2012, Bender is my 11th build.  This successful second attempt at a 5-string bass was another study in geometry- this time, angles, and it inherited the original hardware from Slasher.  It’s a very playable bass, and is one of my favorite personal instruments.

  • Experimental string roller retainer pins on headstock, to create string angle that follows headstock shape
  • Experimental note cut-out/cut-in switches (a built-in effect)
