The R-Guitar (2017) was my 2nd shot at a 6-string guitar, built for another friend, Rick Kraft.  The name comes from the first initial of my friend’s name, and the body design is, of course, an upside-down R.  The idea here was to experiment with fiberglass construction, in the hope of building a lighter-than-average guitar.  By the time it was completed, I don’t think it was more than a few ounces lighter than a typical Strat.
